Built inside real clinics. Designed to strengthen patient engagement, grow independent practices, and expand global impact through eye care.
Dr. Kerry Reeves is an optometrist, entrepreneur, and mission-driven builder committed to transforming how eye care connects with patients and communities.
As the founder of Advanced Eye Care, Dr. Reeves has spent decades serving patients across North and South Carolina while building practices centered on relationships, trust, and long-term community impact. His clinical work has always extended beyond the exam room — focusing not only on vision correction but on creating systems that strengthen patient engagement and improve long-term care outcomes.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Reeves and his family served as missionaries in Haiti, where he helped provide eye care in underserved regions and worked alongside local communities to expand access to vision services. Those years deeply shaped his belief that eye care is not just a profession but a calling — one that combines medicine, compassion, and innovation to restore opportunity through sight.
That mission continues today through his role as founder of EyeCoin and the EyeCoin League — an engagement platform designed to help independent practices build stronger relationships with patients between visits. By blending healthcare, community participation, and gamified engagement, Dr. Reeves’ vision is to move eye care beyond transactional visits and toward ongoing connection and impact.
In addition to clinical leadership, Dr. Reeves is an active entrepreneur involved in healthcare technology, patient engagement innovation, and humanitarian initiatives focused on preventable vision loss worldwide.
At the center of his work is a simple belief:
When patients feel connected, practices grow stronger — and vision care can change lives far beyond the clinic walls.

Most practices don’t lose patients because of care quality. They lose them when the relationship goes quiet between visits. EyeCoin was built to turn patient engagement into infrastructure- creating stronger retention, stronger teams, and greater impact.
EyeCoin didn’t begin as a tech idea.
It began in real clinics — and long before that, in humanitarian work.
Dr. Kerry Reeves spent years serving in Haiti, helping build access to eye care in communities where preventable vision loss was common and resources were limited. Those experiences shaped a lasting belief: vision care is not just about appointments — it’s about connection, consistency, and community.
After returning to the United States and growing independent optometry practices in North and South Carolina, a new pattern became clear. Most practices delivered excellent care inside the exam room, yet relationships often disappeared between visits. Patients drifted away quietly, and clinics were left trying to grow by simply working harder.
EyeCoin was created to solve that gap.
Built from inside real practices, EyeCoin combines engagement, rewards, and community-driven impact to help clinics stay connected with patients long after they leave the chair. The goal is simple: strengthen retention, support independent practices, and create a model where everyday patient engagement can contribute to real-world eye care missions around the globe.
What started as an idea inside one clinic is now evolving into a larger movement — designed to help practices grow, patients stay engaged, and vision care reach further than ever before.
Independent clinics are the backbone of eye care. We build tools that help practice owners grow without sacrificing culture or adding more exam volume.
Most patient loss happens in silence between appointments. The practices that win long-term stay present, relevant, and connected year-round.
Eye care changes lives. Every action—visits, engagement, participation—can support global vision initiatives and real people who need help.
EyeCoin is built to help clinics stay connected with patients between visits- turning engagement into retention, and retention into long-term growth.
